"Like many Mixed Martial artists I came from a background of Muay Thai and western boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling.
The challenge of blending together these arts with their incompatible stances and movements has always been a troubling task, seeming to involve compromising power for defence, or vice versa.
With CSL Chinese boxing I found the missing keys to tying together grappling and striking, improved my punching power exponentially and performed better in Muay Thai and boxing than before.
Having previously been plagued by hand injuries, chinese boxing solved my injury problems through greater accuracy and better hand connections."

"I love the work that i do and having been a personal trainer for the past 6 years i am always looking to learn more and widen my skills.
As well as using machines and weights, i love training and working ones own body weight. The warrior fighting fitness course has not only opened up a whole new approach to this kind of training, but also made it enjoyable to pass onto my clients."

As a lifelong practitioner of martial arts I've always had an interest in movement, strength, fitness and health. I was not the most blessed individuals - in terms of genetics - and my insatiable desire to become a better athlete led to a long catalogue of injuries. The only achievments made were through sheer determination.
Tired of lining my osteopath's pocket, I expanded my research, studying under various industry leaders in sports science and corrective health. Results were varied, not just for me but also my clients, until I came across Scott Sonnon and his Circular Strength Strength Training (CST) system. This was truly the missing piece of the puzzle - CST made sense of everything else I'd previously learned while weaving them seamlesly together.
Training harder, for longer and constantly attaining and breaking goals has been my reward, while remaining injury free! I now take great pleasure in coaching my clients to not only create goals that go far beyond the typical, "I just want to lose weight", but also regularly and safely attaining them and then reaching for even greater, more sophisticated ones.
In 2008, after a long and thorough testing and review process, RMAX Director Scott Sonnon awarded me the position of Head CST Coach for the UK. I am now dedicated to spreading this fantastic 'health first' fitness system in and around the UK so that everyone can benefit from this system's almost magical impact on holistic health.
My journey has also led me to gain qualifications in Corrective Health Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK), Hard Style Kettlebell Training (RKC), GS sport Style (AKC), CST Kettlebell Specialist (CST-CKS), Circular Stength Training (CST), Tactical Fitness Field Instructor (TACTFIT), Structural Integration (Kinesis UK), as well as Tuina/accupressure and yoga. |
